Armstrong Biome Polar Night (ST133) is the darkest color in the entire Biome collection and the only one in the 0-9% light reflectance range. It appears as a near-black brown in Armstrong's swatch, with the knotty grain still faintly visible.

For straight cuts, use a utility knife with a titanium or concave hook blade, or a vinyl tile cutter. For intricate cuts around pipes and door casings, warm the back of the plank with a heat gun to soften it, never the face, and reheat if it cools mid-cut. With S-1000, a 10-minute open time and tightly fitted border pieces help keep planks from shifting and adhesive from oozing at the seams.

Finish: Diamond 10 Technology

Installation and warranty: Full-spread glue-down. The 30-year commercial limited warranty requires a recommended Armstrong adhesive, such as S-995 or S-1000, installed according to Armstrong's instructions.
