Armstrong Biome Mangrove (ST274) and Understory share the lowest light reflectance in the Selva design, at 10-14%. Mangrove's swatch appears dark gray-brown with fine, straight grain, a touch warmer than the near-charcoal Understory.

Two less common substrates have their own rules. On raised access floors where panels must stay removable, the LVT has to be cut to the exact panel size and glued to each panel without crossing panel joints; otherwise, Biome can go over an underlayment system installed on the raised floor. Over steel, stainless steel, or aluminum, use S-319 Roll Strong adhesive, or roughen the surface and apply at least 1/8" of Portland cement-type underlayment.

Finish: Diamond 10 Technology

Installation and warranty: Full-spread glue-down. The 30-year commercial limited warranty requires a recommended Armstrong adhesive, such as S-995 or S-1000, installed according to Armstrong's instructions.
