Armstrong Biome Midsummer (ST132) rates 10-14% light reflectance, far deeper than Solstice (25-29%); only Polar Night (0-9%) is darker in the Tellus design. Armstrong's swatch suggests a deep amber-brown with knotty, varied grain.

In new construction, protect the finished floor while other trades work: cover it with plywood or Kraft paper, including whenever equipment and furniture are moved. Use hardboard or underlayment panels when heavy furniture goes back in. AHF's warranty excludes damage from moving appliances or heavy items across the floor without adequate protection.

Finish: Diamond 10 Technology

Installation and warranty: Full-spread glue-down. The 30-year commercial limited warranty requires a recommended Armstrong adhesive, such as S-995 or S-1000, installed according to Armstrong's instructions.
