Armstrong Biome Loch Ness (ST155) is the lightest Altitude color at 35-39% light reflectance, well above Isle of Skye and Red Rock (20-24%). Armstrong describes Altitude as adding depth and movement, and Loch Ness appears as a light grayish beige with visible knots in its swatch.

For schools and universities, Biome is recommended for classrooms, lecture halls, corridors, libraries, dorm rooms, auditoriums, gymnasiums, and cafeterias. Food-service areas qualify only with no standing water and walk-off mats, and laboratories only if they don't need special surface decontamination. Locker rooms, entryways, ramps, showers, and commercial kitchens need a different floor.

Finish: Diamond 10 Technology

Installation and warranty: Full-spread glue-down. The 30-year commercial limited warranty requires a recommended Armstrong adhesive, such as S-995 or S-1000, installed according to Armstrong's instructions.
