Absinthe Blue reads as a pale blue-gray, cloudy, and a little worn, like old concrete that picked up a tint. Itâ€™s an Armstrong Alterna blue vinyl floor tile from the Whispered Essence design, 16x16, with a low-gloss finish.

Each carton holds 14 tiles and covers 24.89 sq ft. The tile is waterproof, and the installation is full-spread glue-down at any grade level. If you leave the floor ungrouted, Armstrong lists two acoustic underlayments: Quiet Comfort and Quiet Comfort Flex Pro. Armstrongâ€™s two limited warranties both apply: a lifetime one for residential use and a 5-year one for light commercial.
