Forest Fog is one of three colors in the Enchanted Forest design from Armstrong Alterna, along with Night Owl and Tender Twig. Itâ€™s a mid-tone gray with a taupe cast and fine streaks across a 12x24 tile, a bit like worn concrete, with a low-gloss finish.

For a layout with some movement, Armstrongâ€™s pattern guide has a random herringbone that mixes three colors at 40, 40, and 20 percent. Do a dry layout first, since the pattern is random. The tile is waterproof and sets in full spread at every grade level. If you grout, Armstrongâ€™s S-693 is the one to use, and it never gets sealed. Armstrong stands behind residential floors for life and light commercial ones for five years, both under limited warranties.
