Definition of Acidity
Generally, acidity describes the amount of hydrogen and hydroxyl ions in a solution.
It's expressed on a pH scale that ranges from 0 to 14. pH values 0 through 6 represent solutions with high acidity, pH value 7 represents a neutral solution that has an equal measure of acidity and alkalinity, and pH values above 7 represent solutions with reduced acidity.
Acid-proofing low acidity flooring ensures that it won’t be damaged by common acidic substances.
