Armstrong Biome Sylvan (ST270) is the lightest color in the Biome Selva design, with a 45-49% light reflectance rating. It appears as a pale, whitish gray-beige in Armstrong's swatch, with fine, straight grain and little visible figure.

Before Sylvan goes down, clear the subfloor of anything that can show through. Spray paint, permanent markers, and other indelible inks on the substrate or on the back of the planks can bleed through and permanently stain the floor, so remove them mechanically, along with paint, solvents, and other contaminants. In renovations, take old adhesive residue down until 100% of the original substrate is exposed.

Finish: Diamond 10 Technology

Installation and warranty: Full-spread glue-down. The 30-year commercial limited warranty requires a recommended Armstrong adhesive, such as S-995 or S-1000, installed according to Armstrong's instructions.
