Armstrong Biome Uluru (ST253) is the second-darkest Montane color at 20-24% light reflectance; only Everest (15-19%) is deeper. The swatch appears medium-dark warm brown, with straight grain and visible knots.

Installing over wood? A suspended wood subfloor works with a 1/4" underlayment and at least 18" of well-ventilated air space below, but wood laid directly over concrete or on sleepers is not recommended. OSB and treated plywood need a 1/4" APA plywood underlayment on top, and particleboard and hardboard aren't suitable. Lay out the planks so their joints fall at least 6" from underlayment seams.

Finish: Diamond 10 Technology

Installation and warranty: Full-spread glue-down. The 30-year commercial limited warranty requires a recommended Armstrong adhesive, such as S-995 or S-1000, installed according to Armstrong's instructions.
