Melamine is a type of laminate flooring that's made by saturating layers of paper with melamine resin through thermal fusion.
Melamine panels are then attached to a particle board. Melamine laminate flooring is desirable for various reasons:
- The end result resembles natural wood in terms of color, texture, and patterns.
- It’s affordable and durable.
- It’s water, scratch, stain, and shatter resistant.
- It’s perfect for use in high-traffic areas.
- The board can be cut into tiles that are installed using grout like any other type of tile.
