Paragon Tile Plus Vinyl Flooring
Shaw Paragon Tile Plus is a luxury vinyl tile that looks like 12 × 24 inch tile but has no grout. It is a 5.5 mm rigid SPC vinyl tile with a 20 mil wear layer and an EVA pad already attached. It can float or be glued down, and Shaw approves it above, on and below grade.
Who Is It For?
It is for homeowners who want the look of tile without grout lines to scrub or a mortar-set install.
It also helps if you don’t want to rip out an old floor. Shaw allows it over existing ceramic or porcelain tile, as long as that floor meets Shaw’s preparation requirements.
Keep in mind it is vinyl, not ceramic or porcelain. You get the size and shape of tile without grout or thinset.

Where It Works Best
Kitchens and dining areas
Spills wipe off the surface, and there are no grout lines to stain.
Entryways, mudrooms and hallways
These get the most dirt and foot traffic. Scuff resistance matters most here.
Bathrooms and laundry rooms
The tiles are waterproof. In wet areas Shaw requires silicone caulk around the edges of the room.
Finished basements
Shaw approves it below grade if the concrete passes its moisture limits. Test before you buy.
Living rooms, bedrooms and offices
It also works in living rooms, bedrooms and home offices if you want one tile look across the house.
