COREtec Calypso Oak has a painted bevel on all four sides of each plank, which adds depth at the seams and makes the wood grain look more authentic. The planks are built on COREtec's patented WPC core: an extruded blend of recycled wood and bamboo dust, limestone, and virgin PVC.

The core is 100% waterproof. You can install Calypso Oak in bathrooms, kitchens, or basements without worrying about swelling. It's also dimensionally stable, meaning it won't expand or contract with normal indoor temperature changes, so these floors don't need expansion strips even in large rooms.

Cork underlayment is pre-attached to the back of every plank. Walking on it is quieter and warmer than bare vinyl, and cork resists the mold and mildew that cause flooring odors.
