If you are considering installing this product next to, or together with an existing product it's important to understand that they may not match in size or thickness. Even if you get a sample, the samples may not be an exact representation of the locking mechanism or profile of your current materials. Please verify that the thickness and product codes match identical to the box or specifciations of your existing floor. If you order the wrong material it may be returnable in some cases, but there will be a 35% restocking fee.

    Installation Instructions

    Porous substrates: When installing LVT and LVP over a porous substrate, the adhesive should be allowed to dry to the touch sufficient to prevent slippage. Loss of adhesion can result if the flooring is not installed within the working time of the adhesive. Roll the installation in both directions with a 75 lb. 3-section roller immediately after the installation is complete.

    Non-porous substrates: Install LVT and LVP into adhesive as it becomes dry to the touch with little or no transfer to finger when touched. This will normally require 30–60 minutes of drying time at suggested in stallation temperature and humidity. Do not install flooring into wet adhesive on non-porous substrates. Roll the installation in both directions with a 75 lb. 3-section roller immediately after flooring is placed, ensuring complete contact with adhesive.

     

    Mohawk M700 is an acrylic adhesive with extremely aggressive tack, formulated to provide high shear and peel strength for installing commercial Mohawk luxury vinyl tile (LVT) & commercial Mohawk luxury vinyl plank (LVP). M700 forms a secure plasticizer and moisture-resistant bond. This high solids adhesive is also non-staining and contains MicroSept™ antimicrobial system for enhanced resistance to mold and mildew. May be installed on concrete that is above, on and below grade, APA approved plywood, and underlayment-grade hardboard.
