White Oak LVP
White oak LVP is luxury vinyl plank made to look like real white oak: the pale, low-knot look that's on trend right now, but fully waterproof and much harder to scratch or dent than hardwood. Our white oak LVP flooring comes from Bruce and Mannington in both click-together floating planks and glue-down, from everyday 6- and 7-inch widths up to wide plank white oak LVP as wide as 9 inches in Bruce's LifeSeal Reserve line and up to 6 feet long in Mannington's Adura Apex. Whichever you pick installs over concrete, wood, or existing tile, and holds up anywhere from a damp basement to a busy kitchen.
The thing most people want to get right is the color. White oak LVP runs from cool gray-beige to warm blonde, and the light in a room changes how it reads, warmer at night and cooler in shade, so it's worth thinking about how a cool or warm tone will sit next to the cabinets and trim you already have. If you want LVP that looks like real white oak, the best white oak LVP for that is usually a wider, longer plank with a matte, low-gloss finish, and the European white oak and French oak visuals in the Mannington lines give you that calm, Scandinavian grain. One myth worth clearing up: a light floor does not show more dirt than a dark one. Dust and light pet hair are far easier to miss on a pale floor than a dark one.
