Wall base also helps provide a cleaner environment working as a splash guard while also providing style and color to almost any flooring surface.
Burke Mercer rubber cove base wraps around corners, columns, and curved walls with a special positive top return that ensures a snug wall fit. Corner pieces are not required and most installers will avoid needing a corner by scoring/slicing the back of the floor base molding to make the product more pliable. If you still have difficulty wrapping some finishes allow for sectional installation; which is very common for installers who prefer working with 4 foot pieces. It all depends on what the end user wants and if they will accept seams. Some specifications or codes may require the material to be coved with toe and a continue roll along the wall without a visible seam.
